About ME

My Specialties

Most of my clients are firefighters, paramedics, teachers, police officers, military, small business owners, and real estate investors. But I also have many clients with a variety of unique tax situations. One thing I've learned in this business, is no two tax returns are alike and everyone has something unique about them.

What is an enrolled agent

ENROLLED AGENTS (EAS) ARE AMERICA'S TAX EXPERTS

Enrolled Agents (EAs) are federally-licensed tax practitioners who may represent taxpayers before the IRS when it comes to collections, audits and appeals. As authorized by the Department of Treasury's Circular 230 regulations, EAs are granted unlimited practice rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS and are authorized to advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements. Enrolled agents are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. In addition to the stringent testing and application process, the IRS requires enrolled agents to complete 72 hours of continuing education every three years in order to maintain their active enrolled agent license and practice rights.

THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ENROLLED AGENTS AND OTHER TAX PROFESSIONALS

Only enrolled agents are required to demonstrate to the IRS their competence in all areas of taxation, representation and ethics before they are awarded unlimited representation rights to represent taxpayers before IRS. Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who are state-licensed and who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all enrolled agents specialize in taxation.

While the cost of tax preparation may not sound appealing, keep in mind that an Enrolled Agent can often catch credits or deductions that you may have missed — saving you money that can pay for the cost of the tax preparation! Additionally, you should consider the time it would take to prepare your income tax return yourself. Just having to read through the instructions and understand all the IRS rules can take you hours! For a lot of people, this alone makes the cost of professional tax preparation worthwhile.

I offer a modern approach to getting your taxes done right the first time. Using the latest techniques and tax software, I will prepare and e-file your taxes whether we work remotely or in-person. I guarantee I'll be as thorough and complete as possible ensuring that you get every deduction/credit available. You will get:

1 - Stress free tax preparation at my place, your place, or entirely online

2 - Digital/encrypted copies of your state and federal returns
3 - Free limited advice during the year (including a mid-year checkup)

Not 100% satisfied with your current preparer? No problem! Switching is EASY and I will make the transition seamless without missing a beat!

I PROMISE!... you won't find a better deal out there for what I'm including! Email/message me today for a FREE, NO-OBLIGATION QUOTE!

Originally from Los Angeles, I currently work and live with my family in Murrieta, CA. I have a BA in Political Science from Azusa Pacific University, studied accounting and tax at Foothill College, been a California Registered Tax Preparer and IRS Annual Filing Season Provider since 2014, and a federally-licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS since 2019. In addition to preparing taxes and representing clients, I'm also a full-time Fire Captain, President of my Firefighters Association, husband and father to a beautiful wife and two amazing kids! When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time in the mountains with my family. Together, we snowboard, mountain bike, fish, hike and camp.
